Raising a puppy can be exhausting and overwhelming! There are important things your puppy needs in those first few months to shape your puppy into the best adult dog it can be. Knowing your puppy is being cared for by a professional dog trainer lets you relax with the confidence that your puppy is getting the best of everything it needs to become a calm, confident adult dog.

The aspects of puppy raising that will be covered during their board and train are:
- Potty Training - teaching where and when it is appropriate to eliminate
- Socialization - enjoying interactions and being comfortable with animals, people, places and during activities
- Crate Training - learning the crate is a familiar and safe location to rest/sleep
- On/Off Leash Skills - learning to explore but checking in while off leash and keeping a loose leash when walking
- Focus and Attention - engaging with you while ignoring distractions
- Grooming and Handling - desensitization and counter-conditioning to basic grooming requirements and veterinary examinations
Your puppy is learning, using reward based training philosophy, in all types of practical and real-life situations. Exercise is a huge part of owning a dog and we believe it is crucial to the physical, behavioural and mental health of dogs. Your puppy will be exercised using activities based on their age and abilities.
All puppies have a critical socialization period that starts around 8 weeks and closes at 16 weeks of age. Therefore, your puppy should be under 16 weeks but can be accepted up to 21 weeks for this program.
The minimum time frame for this program is 2 weeks but can be to 4 weeks with custom lengths available. The cost for the 2 week program is $1,540.00 plus tax.

How To Book a Spot
There are a limited number of dogs we can take at a time for Board & Train to ensure all the dogs get the appropriate amount of training and exercise per day. You will want to book in advance to ensure you have a spot.

Vaccination Requirements
- All dogs are required to be up to date on their core (annual) vaccinations, Bordetellosis and Leptospirosis. They should also have regular internal and external parasite control.
My own dogs receive the core vaccinations on schedule with both Bordetellosis and Leptospirosis as well as internal and external parasite control to keep them safe and healthy.
These requirements are to keep all humans and dogs safe because your dog's health and safety is very important to us.
***NO AVERSIVE EQUIPMENT IS PERMITTED ON SITE***
This includes, but is not limited to: electronic collars (shock/vibration), choke chains and prong collars. NO EXCEPTIONS FOR ANY REASON.
